Evening service in church as usual this year, my left knee was still in a pretty bad shape so no dancing for me! Left about halfway through, went down to town for a quick dinner with Jingliang since she had to get home earlier than expected.
Met up with the rest for awhile before returning to the ever-so-comfortable bed at home…

Presents from the girls – Jingliang, Melissa, Peiling, Yunxing and Yuxuan. As for the guys, let’s just say it’s not in our blood to do such things unless there’s a specific reason behind it.

The Nativity Story chronicles the arduous journey of two people, Mary and Joseph, a miraculous pregnancy, and the history-defining birth of Jesus. This dramatic and compelling story comes to life in a major motion picture starring Keisha Castle-Hughes (Whale Rider) as Mary, Oscar Isaac (Guerrilla) as Joseph, and Academy Award nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo (House of Sand and Fog) as Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist.
An interesting take on the life of Jesus, and this was something not done before previously. Most movies involving a character “Jesus” would probably depict his death, so this is really new to the viewers. Overall, a good show to catch – even with the $9.50 weekend ticket.
