“I’ll call you back later.”
Yeah, sure.
Orchard, yet again.
Benji wanted to get his jeans and a tie for a wedding dinner, Vikki and I ended up being pulled along. 10% off both their purchases at Topman/Topshop with my card, just accumulated enough for another $10 voucher to use – another cardigan, perhaps?
I did finally get the plain white tee from Zara in the end, so that’s about it for now. No more shopping! (window shopping still goes)
Oh, and it’s probably the 100th time the Muse cd has been repeating itself since two days back.
I can’t really explain, but something about the book just struck me a little over the past two-and-a-half hours I’ve spent going through it.
“once you learn how to die,
you learn how to live.”
— Morrie Schwartz
And I’d give up forever to touch you
‘Cause I know that you feel me somehow
You’re the closest to heaven that I’ll ever be
And I don’t want to go home right now
And all I can taste is this moment
And all I can breathe is your life
Cause sooner or later it’s over
I just don’t want to miss you tonight
And I don’t want the world to see me
Cause I don’t think that they’d understand
When everything’s made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
And you can’t fight the tears that ain’t coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies
When everything seems like the movies
Yeah you bleed just to know your alive
And I don’t want the world to see me
Cause I don’t think that they’d understand
When everything’s made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am

The film takes a satirical look at the inflexibility of outdated governmental rules and regulations and the rigid mindsets of civil servants who follow rules to a fault, charming and delighting audiences with its humorous and perceptive insights.
Definitely Jack Neo’s most hilarious production yet; I haven’t laughed my butt off for a long, long time.
I’m having a bit of a headache right now so I’ll keep this one short.
Service as usual in the morning, gathering for Dad’s side was just a good 5-minute walk away so we didn’t have to rush out of church or anything. There was this “programme” to allow everyone to know each other better, and my dear cousin Aileen just got me into hot soup – hosting the programme next year. HELP ME HOR!
Dinner at Mum’s side, we were the first to reach there and ended up rotting away for like an hour before the rest started coming… Left pretty early, everyone was rather tired after one whole day outside.

Here’s wishing everyone a Happy Lunar New Year.
May all of you gorge yourselves to death with the fatty food and collect lots of angbaos so you can share them with me!
Two months.
I could rot the entire time away, or just land myself in some weird job for the extra cash… Hayley found a job opening for me, but it’s not confirmed yet – $5.50/hr, 5-day week + 2 Saturdays for a month. I’ll probably go for it unless there’s a better offer, the only gripe right now is that it starts on the 21st… Ohwell.
And I’m still not done with festive shopping.
Happy Valentines’.
I can’t think of anything else to say except “tomorrow is doomsday”. So good luck to myself and please don’t screw up the bloody paper.
